The Baumgardners CoEd - Ages 30's

We are a Co-Ed class of married adults in their 20’s and 30’s that is not your run of the mill Sunday school group; it’s anything but traditional.

We delve into real social issues that impact our daily lives while searching for scriptural solutions. We may not be able to fix the world but our challenge is to be equipped to combat these spiritual and moral issues in our daily lives beginning in our homes.

If you’re looking to be a part of a group of disciples that will genuinely love you like Jesus, come on by and check us out. You will be fed both spiritually and physically as the coffee is always hot and breakfast is the perfect perk. This class currently meets in P105 and averages twelve each week. You can contact Chris & Trudie at baumdiggity@msn.com.

Chuck Ward – CoEd - Ages 35 - 40

We are a class comprised mostly of families. Our children range in ages from newborns to high-schoolers. Most of us are in our 30’s with a few having gone “over the hill” to the 40’s. Chuck is very close to crossing that threshold himself! We love to laugh and have fun!

Our class verse is Acts 2:42, “And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread and to prayer.” We try to follow the early church’s example in these areas. Chuck teaches from the Bible every Sunday and we discuss how we can best apply it to our lives. We have parties where we always have a great time with each other. Of course, we incorporate food into all of our gatherings. And we share our burdens and needs so we can pray for one another.

We respond to the needs made known to us through the individuals in our group. This may include sick family or friends that need some meals or extra help. Or it may be donations for needy families. Ultimately we are willing to do and go as He sends us (Isaiah 6:8).

This class currently meets on the second floor of our Children’s building in room 201 and averages twenty adults each week. You can connect with Chuck to answer any questions you have about this Connection Group by e-mail at wewards@bellsouth.net.

Rick and Debbie Lucas CoEd - 35 to 45

We represent a diverse group of professions and interests with a common love for Christ and a desire to share that love with others. Our class outings consist of: pool parties, beach outings, and time spent on the river in the summer, football games & cookouts in the fall and finish the year with a great time of thanksgiving at our annual Christmas Dinner. We change our fellowships around with some being family focused and others adult only.

We are a group that not only believes in service, in the church and throughout the community but get involved in ministry. People in our class serve in many support areas of the church as well as actively work in their community association groups, children’s sports programs, and civic groups.

This class currently meets in the preschool hall, room 102 (first door on the left) and averages 20 each week. To contact Rick and Debbie with any questions you have about this Connection Group, e-mail them at rplucas@comcast.net.

Tom Giron - Military

Our class is comprised of a wide spectrum of Christ-followers, Christ-seekers, and those who wish to learn more about Christ and God's word. In our study of God's word, we attempt to focus on present-day application and helping each other to grow in our relationship with Christ. We just happen to also be a close-knit group of military personnel that share a common understanding of the unique challenges that face military families. While we rarely dwell on military topics, our common backgrounds in service and sacrifice in the defense of our nation allow us to more effective serve each other during challenging times.

With frequent deployers and families experiencing separation, we come together to provide the support that only other military families understand. Our group includes both men and women of all ages representing multiple ethnicities and military branch affiliations. If you have questions regarding our church’s Military Ministry, contact us at info@wearefaithbridge.com . For questions specific to this Connection Group you can contact Tom at tomgiron@comcast.net. This class currently meets in room P103 and averages twelve each week.

Adam Yetter - Military

Instead of complaining about what trials we currently face, we choose to appreciate what we have and remain thankful to God for his faithfulness. We do not dwell on military topics, but we do study God’s word and apply it to our lives as members of the armed forces. We make it a point to include love, laughter, food, and the occasional Starbucks coffee into each of our gatherings.

Important note: Please leave your rank at the door when entering this class. There is only person that can pull rank in our class and that is Jesus Christ, the King of Kings.
